We are still here for you - digitally and by phone Even in these difficult and uncertain times we would like to give you the security that you can continue to count on us. The health of our employees and compliance with all official measures is extremely important to us. ASSA ABLOY is responding to the spread of the virus with appropriate measures in all company departments: Protection of our employees Our employees’ health is our main priority at all times. Many employees have the option of working from home. We have taken numerous measures to reduce the risk of infection in our Production, Warehouse and Dispatch Departments. The strict separation between certain departments and work shifts also reduces the risk of shut-down or employee shortages. Moreover, workstations have been set up in such a way that they comply with the hygiene regulations and rules of conduct stipulated by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH). The same applies to all employees who are unable to work from home. Customer support Customers can still contact us despite the current state of emergency. Many of our employees are working from home. This allows us to reduce the risk of infecting one another. Your contact persons can still be reached on their usual 'phone numbers and at their usual email addresses during normal working hours. However, all travel on company business is forbidden to confirmed risk areas. All other company travel is suspended unless absolutely necessary in individual cases. Meetings should be held using virtual channels, wherever possible. Supply chains in logistics Purchasing at ASSA ABLOY in Switzerland is evaluating global supply chains on a continuous basis, so that they can identify any supply bottlenecks in good time as far as possible. Moreover, we are also trying to proactively control our delivery capacity with our own resources by giving priority to deliveries and placing some deliveries in storage in Switzerland. We also recommend that our customers check their own safety stock to ensure that we are both able to continue operations together, even if further pandemic control measures are imposed, particularly in Switzerland and the rest of Europe. However, ASSA ABLOY is preparing itself for any delays in the supply chain and production and within the industry itself in general.
